These servo operated units are much improved and available now.

The Electra Jet and Electric Sabre were designed to be All Electric models for convenience and weight savings.

An added benefit to these "No Uplock" designs is that the gear strut doors will fit snugly against the wing skin as a matter of adjustment. This is important for an efficient airframe. The availability of the super powerful and sturdy JR 791 retract servos are an important part of the proper use of these units. The correct servo wheel geometry provides a secure up position.

The units will hold BVM Durostruts or our wire struts with the soldered-on brass adaptors. The mains feature a simple clamping retention, while a set screw retains the strut in the nose unit.

The side mounted actuation arm keeps the drive linkage clear of the wheel in the up position and can also receive an air cylinder (remotely mounted) for operation.

The precision machined aluminum, brass, and steel parts are mounted in lightweight Carbon Fiber frames and factory tested for smooth operation.
