Dear BVM

I Just wanted to share some impressions of the EDF Jet Jam at Muncie a week ago which Bob Belloumini organized. Bob did a really great job and the Muncie Airfield and Museum is really something all AMA Members should visit. This area is so unbelievable huge and of course a joy to fly from the 2 perfectly paved runways. The weather was not the best with heavy cross and gusty wind conditions Thursday and Friday.

Despite these conditions, I still got some flights with my new white, blue, and grey eBandit. Saturday was perfect with calm wind and sunny skies where I got 12 flights during the day. The Bandit is a charge and fly plane, and the performance on the new 9 blade 14s fan and flight time is just incredible.

I got several flights with Harold Little in formation which was really fun. Harold brought his whole fleet consisting of a MiG 15, eBandit and 2 Electras. Harold won Best Scale Jet with his MiG and I won Best Sport Jet, so we took 2 awards out of 3 . Carl Rich flew his beautiful F86 ARF in the red and aluminum Artic scheme. Chris true brought his white F86 in the Japanese Airshow scheme which he got from the Malchione Family and did several perfect flights on this 20 year old model. All in all, it was a great event with lots of flying for the 36 registered pilots.
