Bare Bones but Beautiful
Mitch's Super Sabre

It has become a common practice to fly these complex scale jets in primer, get them trimmed, build pilot confidence and then invest the time in the finish and detailing.
Mitch Weiss with his F-100D The next photo you see of this F-100D will depict it ready for Top Gun '02, adorned in a weathered Vietnam era, camo scheme with underwing stores and skin detailing.
Mitch logged the first 3 flights on the model December 19, 2001. Two clicks of trim and it was perfectly beautiful!
The underwing pylons (all six) will be added and carry a pair of 375 gallon fuel tanks and some ordinance from Dan Gill, {Details 4 Scale, 361-785-2295}.
Eight to ten more "FAM Flights" will be flown and then the model will be finished for the big contest.
An AMT AT-280HP producing 31-32 pounds of thrust (see www.usamt.com) powers this Hun and the combination seems perfect.
