The Triple Tree Jet Rally
helps jet newcomers get started.

Come fly with us in Greenville, South Carolina.
October 20-23, 2005

The Triple Tree Jet Rally, held at the site famous for hosting the Joe Nall Fly-in, has announced new expanded format specifically catering to new or low-time pilots looking for assistance from pros. Of course, beginner attention is in addition to the regular flying experienced by a growing number of expert jet flyer in previous years. None of what's made this a successful meet will change.
For newcomers, it's no secret that the complexities of jet flight can be challenging. Consequently, to assure success and reduce risk, newcomers are encouraged to have their planes receive a thorough check-out by an expert before flight. And that's just what this new format is designed to do.
Any newcomer who "reserves" a spot with the CD Eric Meyers by Oct 1 will be teamed up with a professional Team JR or BVM pilot. While regular flying will commence on Thursday, anyone requesting help will get their model checked out (please have the model fully rigged and ready-to-fly), and if possible, flown, on Thursday. Our AMA sanction starts Friday. On Friday, in accordance with AMA rules, test flights will cease, but if necessary, there are jet-friendly sites in the area..
This year, the fun doesn't stop when the flying's over. We'll have BYOM (bring your own meat) dinners at the "patio over the lake" on Thursday and Saturday, with the main BBQ being held on Friday night. Bring your electric foamies for flying after jets.
Come and enjoy flying and fellowship on afterburners at one of the country's most spectacular model fields.
