The EVF 4012 utilizes a Neu 1521 motor and Castle Creations E.S.C. The thrust level is similar to that of the 4010 at 14# but accomplishes this with lower amperage draw  yielding about 1 minute more flight time.

Models that can be powered with the 4012 are: F-86, Electra, Maverick, Agg III, and Ultra Viper.  The preferred battery system (power/weight) is the 1250-2.

Installation losses will vary with the inlet and thrust tube configuration.

Battery System 2 allows the lightest weight installation.

Battery System 3 offers increased performance (about 1lb more thrust) along with the increase in flight time.
