Twin Nozzle Tailpipe
for the single turbine powered F-4 and similar jets.

Professionally designed and tooled, this stainless steel twin nozzle tailpipe runs cool, quiet and is very efficient. Bench testing revealed a 70°C drop in engine temperature compared to previous sharp cornered designs and a total thrust loss of less than 3/4 pounds in the 24 pound thrust range. This means your engine will last longer and operate more efficiently.

The 11-1/2 ounce unit is 19-3/4" long and the distance between centers of the 2 rear nozzles is 6". It is fitted with 2 welded on stainless steel straps for mounting to a BVM bypass tube. The front end is flared slightly so that it can even be used without a bypass system in some models. It fits into the carbon fiber cooling shroud and augmentor system that is used in the F-4.

This tailpipe has been successfully flown in the BVM F-4 with the AMT AT-280 engine and one with a RAM 1000 engine.
