BVM designed and kitted the 80" F-86F Sabre jet to win "Top Gun", and it did in 2006. To do so, it had to have a built-up wing vs. a fully molded composite wing. See Top Gun rule Part 3 #7A.
The resulting structure is a pleasure to build if one has the time and enjoys that part of the hobby. However, we realize that some modelers don't have the time but would still like to have one.
We have contracted a few very skilled modelers to build the wings up to the ready-to-finish state. We keep a few in stock and they are available for an additional $750.00 when you purchase the Sabre Jet kit.
