A new attendance record - 196! Another perfect event was hosted by Jerry Caudle and his volunteer crew of family & friends at one of the best sites possible for a jet fly.

BVM jets were in abundance again with a field of 21 BANDITS leading the way. BVM pilots and jets set the pace for continuous action. They fly more sorties than all others combined - even if there is a little cross wind.

The BVM staff always attends these larger events and the trailer is equipped with just about everything you might need to keep your BVM jet airborne. Landing mishaps or engine failure will not ground you. We feel that if you make the effort to get there, we want you to be able to complete your weekend of lying fun.

These pilots are very happy with the most popular sport jet on the scene. Power sources include VIOFAN / .91,.96, RAM 750, JPX T260 "P"+"K" and AMT Mercury. All worked great. Ask any of these guys how the BANDIT flies the approach and landing. They'll all tell you "Slow + Safe" even in a crosswind.

Mr. Iquo Osaka purchased a Bandit kit at Superman '97 and returned this year to show us all how to finish a jet. He flew the Bandit several times with a RAM 750 for power.

Terry Nitsch's Bandit is powered by the new AMT Mercury. Its brilliant neon paint trim really adds to his display of jet aerobatics. In the background Vernon Montgomery's BVM F-4 awaits take off clearance.
