Center of Gravity

The published Center of Gravity location on your Bandit is a bit too conservative.  It flies and lands better if you balance the model 1/2" aft of the published C.G. or 9" aft of the wing leading edge where it meets the fuselage fillet.

  Stabilizer and vertical fin front CF pins.

Until 11/26/07 all Bandit ARF's have been shipped with CF leading edge pins ground to fit snug into the molded receptacles.  To make insertion and removal of the stabs and fins easier we recommend these easy steps. 

1. Chuck the 1/4" anti-rotation pin into a drill.

2. Run the drill slowly while applying pressure with 220 grit sandpaper. 

3. Repeat this step until a slip fit into the molded receptacle is achieved.

Note:  Kits produce after 11/26/07 have the CF pins ground .005" undersize, and should not require these steps.
