Mounts Adaptors for:
BVM BobCat Composite and KingTech K-100G
| □ Install the Carbon
Adaptor Plates onto
the aluminum mounts with (4) 4-40 X 3/8" SHCS. Apply a
drop of Zap Z-42 Thread Locker to each bolt. Do not
tighten these four bolts at this time.
Note the spacing
between the outer holes and inner holes; be sure to
orient the plates as shown with mounting holes in the
correct position. |

| □ Install the engine onto the top of the
Carbon
Adaptor Plates with the use of (6) 4-40 X 3/8" SHCS, (6)
#4 washers, and (2) 4-40 Nylock Nuts on the two outboard
aft 4-40 bolts. Once the engine is aligned properly,
tighten the four bolts that hold the engine straps to
the CF plates. Finally, tighten the four bolts that hold
the CF plates to the aluminum blocks. |

| □ Follow the
instructions that came with the BobCat for any further
installation steps and flight trim adjustments.
NOTE: Flight trim adjustment may
require shimming the front of the engine mounts up with
#4 Flat Washers (provided).
The model should accelerate
without climbing as the throttle is advanced. As with
any new model, spend the first few flights getting it
properly trimmed. |
